Microblading

Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is performed using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. This manual technique allows for realistic and natural looking eyebrows. Hairstroke methods and/or shading techniques are used to create your desired outcome.

The market is becoming so saturated with quick to learn "microbladers", it is hard to know where to go. Here at Louisiana Laserderm, you recieve treatment by a veteran technician, who has 4 years of obsessive studying and training with microblading eyebrows. Abbie, also the owner at Louisiana Laserderm, has dedicated herself to becoming an expert, not only in technique, but also in color theory, micropigment science, and innovation.

What To Expect

Brow Creation Process

In my humble opinion, creating beautiful brows with Microblading is truley a 2-step process. Because of this, our fee for 1st time brows covers two sessions. This will consist of an initial session to create the shape and the fundamental structure of the brow. An additional appointment at 6 weeks is necessary to complete the process; this will help reinforce color, hair strokes, and is where we add more texture and detail to the brow.

Microblading        $650

(Initial and 6 week Treatments included)

Touch Ups

After the intital 2-step process, the brows will naturally fade to lighter shades of the original color (no red or green brows here!). Color and shape restoration is typically required between 9-24 months based on multiple factors.

< 12 month Touch Up                 $200

10 mo - 1.5 year Touch Up         $250

1.5 yr - 2 year Touch Up             $300

Over 2 years will require evaluation and price will be based on the amount of work needed to restore the brow.

At your first appointment we will:
1. Carefully measure, shape, and pick the perfect color with you to ensure your satisfaction.
2. The initial treatment takes approximately 1.5-2 hours
3. After care will be reviewed and given
4. Your 6 week touch-up will be scheduled

Things to Know
1. Aesthetic procedures, certain medications/supplements, water, and sun exposure will all need to be avoided to the area for 1 week prior and 2 weeks post treatment.

2. Your brows will appear darker and larger after your initial session for 3-4 days, so DON'T FREAK OUT!

3. Don't trust just anyone with your brows. This is your face and it is semi-permanent. Make sure you choose the right Artist for you and let our expert give you the brows you deserve!

Lip Blushing

Lip blushing is a type of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure. The treatment is achieved by depositing pigments with a needle gun into your lips.

Lip blushing focuses on altering both color and shape to create younger-looking lips.  Results will be customized to you and your lifestyle and can be bold or very subtle and anywhere in between.

What to Expect

Abbie is our Master PMU Artist with 5 years of experience in cosmetic tattooing and 14 years in the aesthetic industry. It is important to find the right artist for you. We are confident that choosing us will not disappoint. It is our mission to provide beautiful long lasting lip enhancment. We use the best quality micro-pigments to give you long term results with true to color fading.

Abbie combines her artistry with the latest advancements in techniques, equipment, and after care to bring you the best lip blushing in the South.

The Procedure

1. Color Selection - We will begin by selecting the right color and technique that best suits your desired outcome. Color selection is done using exact match lip stains so that you can see the color before beginning.

2. Numbing - You will be numbed prior to and throughout the procedure. Our methods lead to very little discomfort.

3. Color Deposit - The pigment will be worked into the lips  which will take 1.5-2.5 hrs, depending upon lip size and desired saturation.

What to Expect After

It takes around 5 to 10 days for the lips to heal after a lip blushing procedure.

Day of: The lips will be swollen and the color will be very bold upon leaving.

Day 2-3: Swelling has subsided and color looks bold and beautiful. Lips may begin to feel chapped and itchy. Some peeling may occur.

Day 4-7: Lips are dry and flakey, color is beginning to settle in and reveal its true tone.  Be aware that the color will vary quite a lot during the healing process before reaching the final color that you agreed upon with your permanent makeup artist.

Day 7+: Lips are "back to normal" but color will continue to adjust for 30 days. A touch-up may be required at 4-6 weeks to provide the best result.

Aquarelle Lips

This is your lip color, but subtly enhanced by creating a very soft outline of your lips with a lip color that is best suited for your skin and desired look. ... This soft line is blended and shaded when lips are filled with the pigment. This is also reffered to as "lip blush". Results are very natural and enhancing.

Initial Procedure $450*

*Paid touch-ups are sometimes needed at 4-6 weeks for optimal results

Lip Liner

Line and enhance your lips, correct dark lip outline while enhancing the overall look of your lips. Doing lining only on your lip border will create clean lip lines and help with lipstick application.

Initial Procedure $300*

*Touch ups are rarely needed at 4-6 weeks

Color Boost

The lips are constantly exfoliating which slowly fades the pigment we deposit during the initial treatment. Some patients will require a touch-up in 6-9 weeks while others may be able to go 6-9 months. We highly recommend an annual color enhancing appointment to keep your lip color beautiful.

4-6 week color touchup              $150

Annual Color Restore                  $300

*Anything beyond one year, or if you did not have your original treatment with us, may incur higher fees.

3D Lips by Abbie

This technique provides 3-dimensional color for perfectly made-up lips 24/7. Unlike aquarelle lips, this look will mimic a more "make-up" lip with a liner, shade, and gloss appearance.

3D Areola Tattoo & Nipple Enhancment

It is a special technique of a semi-permanent makeup that creates a realistic image of an areola and a nipple for breast cancer survivors.

Nipple enhancment is for cosmetic purposes to help women achieve the changes they wish regarding areola color and size.

What To Expect

Message from our owner and Master Artist:

"First and formost, from the bottom of my heart, congratulations on the next phase of your tremendous journey. I would be honored to work with you on restoring your confidence and womanly image. I will dedicate all that I know to creating exactly what you hope for."

-Abbie

Typically about 6 months following breast reconstruction,  we can tattoo a natural looking nipple and areola. Breast reconstruction may or may not include nipple reconstruction. Either way, there is no color defining the area. Artistic tattoo techniques can create a 3D nipple tattoo for those opting out of the nipple surgery. The goal with the 3D nipple is the illusion of protrusion. Areola tattooing is generally the finishing touch to breast reconstruction.

Areola Color Enhancment

Enhancment is for non-reconstructive cases where women simply wish to make cosmetic changes appealing to you. Color enhancment is a tattooing procedure where we can even out areola color, make areolas darker, larger, or even lighter in some cases. If you think you may be interested, call for a free consultation where we can discuss your options.

At your first appointment:
1. Together we will decide the new areola nipple placement, size, shape, and color to provide for a realistic outcome.

2. The initial treatment takes approximately 1.5-2 hours

3. Although topical anesthetics are available, most clients have little sensation during the procedure.
4. At first, the tattoo appears dark and as it heals over 2-3 weeks the true color reveals. A follow-up visit layers detail and color which adds to the finished result.

Does Insurance Cover
Payment is out of pocket and we provide you with a superbill (a specialized receipt), for possible reimbursement. Some insurance companies require a pre-authorization you can initiate prior treatment. You may also need a letter of medical necessity from your doctor.
